About Carrier and the Role

Carrier is a leading global provider of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, fire, security, and cold chain solutions. The company is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer RLC to join its team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is focused on expanding Carrier's market presence and achieving sales targets for RLC solutions within the Western region, with a particular emphasis on residential projects.

Role Objectives

The primary objective of this role is to strengthen Carrier’s position in the Western region residential market. This involves developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and delivering competitive RLC solutions that align with customer needs. The Senior Sales Engineer will be responsible for achieving sales targets by generating residential project opportunities, converting leads into orders, and ensuring timely execution and collection for RLC solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive market expansion for RLC solutions across the Western region, with a strong focus on residential projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with developers, contractors, and consultants within the residential segment.
  • Generate inquiries through regular market visits, focusing on residential developments and commercial projects.
  • Prepare and manage monthly sales forecasts and booking targets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Follow up on submitted quotations, understand customer requirements, and coordinate with Application Engineers to provide suitable RLC solutions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to maintain market competitiveness.
  • Review and negotiate sales contracts (payment terms, L/C, warranties, etc.) in line with company policies and approval procedures.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Purchasing, and Logistics teams to review and process sales orders to the factory.
  • Prepare and submit technical submittals and clarifications to support order finalization.
  • Follow up on payment milestones and collection progress in coordination with Finance.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in HVAC sales, with a preference for RLC experience.
  • Strong market knowledge of the Western Region of KSA in the RLC area.
  • Strong technical and commercial understanding of consultant specifications, tender processes, and project execution.
  • Proficient knowledge of residential HVAC solutions, including split units, ducted systems, and light commercial applications.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Fluency in Arabic.
