Site Architect (Supervision)

About the Role

Sameer Al-Marzouki Engineering Consultants is seeking a Site Architect (Supervision) to oversee interior fit-out works for commercial branches. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and requires travel to sites in other cities. The role involves ensuring that all works adhere to approved designs and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise finishes, ceilings, lighting, joinery, and signage on site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and client brand standards.
• Inspect works and materials, respond to inspection requests, and issue site instructions and non-conformance reports as required.
• Review architectural submittals and shop drawings provided by the contractor.
• Coordinate effectively with the contractor and the design team, and formally raise any design queries in writing.
• Maintain daily site records and prepare weekly progress reports for each assigned site.
• Manage snagging processes, project handover, and all necessary closeout documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in architectural supervision, particularly with interior fit-out projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and quality control for interior works.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and brand guidelines.

Work Environment and Conditions

This role is based in Jeddah, Makkah, and requires frequent travel to various project sites across the Kingdom. Due to the nature of commercial fit-out works, some night or weekend shifts may be necessary to accommodate site operating hours.
