About the Sr. Master Plan Design Manager Role

AECOM is seeking a Sr. Master Plan Design Manager to join our team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves leading and advising on complex planning initiatives, contributing to projects that shape communities and infrastructure. The role requires a professional with 5-10 years of relevant experience in master plan design and related planning functions, focusing on developing and evaluating strategic plans.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and evaluate plans and criteria for various projects and activities executed by others.
Assess the feasibility and integrity of proposed planning products.
Serve as a staff advisor and consultant on technical specialties, facility types, industry practices, equipment, or program functions.
Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant local, state, and federal laws.
Oversee specialized planning functions, including large-scale new development proposals and environmental studies.
Provide comprehensive management for IE-related planning issues.
Advise the Planning Director on all matters pertaining to planning.
Offer guidance to various councils, boards, commissions, and elected officials on planning-related issues.
Evaluate the operations and activities within assigned areas of responsibility.
Prepare reports on operations and activities, including recommendations for improvements and modifications.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Sr. Master Plan Design Manager position should possess 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in master plan design, urban planning, or a closely related field. This experience should include a proven track record in developing and evaluating complex planning projects and advising stakeholders.

Work Environment and Recruitment Process
