About the Workforce Staffing Specialist Role

Amazon's Workforce Staffing (WFS) team is focused on developing innovative solutions to address global workforce challenges. We are seeking a dedicated Workforce Staffing Specialist to join our team, supporting operations in the Makkah Region, specifically in Jeddah and Makkah. This is a full-time position requiring 2-5 years of experience.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping workforce strategies. You will develop data-driven visions for teams and businesses, creating scalable strategies to attract top talent and diverse candidates efficiently. A key aspect of this position involves evolving and implementing labor acquisition strategies, including recommendations for employee classes, labor pool utilization, and talent pool conversion across various Amazon businesses.

  • Partner with local Site Leadership teams, including Operations, Finance, and Human Resources, to optimize labor requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly Workforce Staffing performance reports using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Forecast labor demand and develop scalable staffing strategies to meet business needs.
  • Adapt strategies based on evolving business needs by tracking hiring event schedules and forecasted attendance.
  • Lead and manage projects of varying complexity through to completion.
  • Set KPI benchmarks and prioritize tasks to meet business Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Manage cost per hire budgets, overseeing labor acquisition, advertising, and other talent acquisition costs.
  • Develop strategies to optimize candidate cycle time, conversion rates, and applicant funnel metrics.
  • Exceed associate experience service levels and KPIs related to hiring activity and defect reduction.
  • Collaborate with site Finance Managers and Operations Leaders to forecast and plan labor demand.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources.
  • Demonstrated experience with HR processes and systems.
  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • Fluency in speaking, writing, and reading English.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional experience that would be beneficial includes:

  • Experience with process improvement initiatives.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management.
  • Experience managing confidential and sensitive employee information while adhering to strict confidentiality standards.

Work Environment and Travel

This role is based in our buildings in Jeddah, supporting the KSA organization. The position requires the ability to travel as needed to conduct events in various locations within your designated node or assigned geographical area.
