About Mayar Foods

Mayar Foods is seeking a Storekeeper to join their team in Najran, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field. The Storekeeper is responsible for the comprehensive management of inventory, maintenance, and supervision of activities within the stores.

Role Overview

The Storekeeper plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations. This involves tracking all material movements, supervising material handling to minimize damage, and conducting regular inspections. Additionally, the role includes receiving daily collections from sales representatives, contributing to the overall logistical flow of the company.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare the store for incoming stock, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures for space management.
Oversee loaders and laborers, coordinating with logistics for the dispatch of customer orders.
Ensure the hygiene of trucks and proper loading of goods, including visual inspections for potential issues like leakages.
Supervise the off-loading of stock, reviewing goods for damages or shortages, and reporting any discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager or Logistics Supervisor.
Receive damaged and returned goods, assess their condition, and obtain necessary approvals before acceptance.
Identify and report unsafe conditions or work practices within the store environment.
Ensure safe and timely loading and unloading operations, verifying goods against a checklist.
Conduct periodic physical stock counts, complete counting sheets, reconcile variances, and update records accordingly.
Check and ensure appropriate arrangement of stock within the store.

Qualifications and Experience

0-1 years of experience in a storekeeping or warehouse management role.
Demonstrated ability to manage inventory and supervise store activities.
Understanding of standard operating procedures for store space management.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Najran, Saudi Arabia, and involves working within a dynamic warehouse and logistics environment. The role requires active participation in daily operations and coordination with various teams.
