Role Overview

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its team in Neom, Al Jawf. This is a full-time position requiring over 10 years of experience. The role involves managing financial and contractual aspects across multiple work packages and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all related documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the financial and contractual aspects of multiple work packages.
• Participate in, record, and prepare minutes for progress meetings.
• Provide support on all financial and contractual matters throughout the work packages.
• Finalize monthly payment certificates for multiple package Contractors with QS assistance.
• Ensure all cost and quantity records are streamlined and maintained by the QS team.
• Advise SRE and RE’s on measurement procedures and calculation of interim and final quantities.
• Evaluate unit rates for new work items with QS assistance.
• Establish recording methods and monitor day works recording and processing.
• Advise on contractor’s resource allocations.
• Prepare financial statements for monthly reports.
• Audit payments to multiple package Contractors.
• Ensure prompt submission and completeness of valuations.
• Check and record measurements of completed work.
• Monitor contract final cost estimates.
• Maintain expenditure records.
• Coordinate and monitor team activities.
• Prepare Final Accounts with all supporting documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in quantity surveying.
• Demonstrated ability to manage financial and contractual aspects of large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in measurement procedures, cost estimation, and financial reporting.
