About the Role

Maqam Group is seeking a professional and dynamic F&B Director to join our hotel team in Abhā, 'Asir, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position where the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the comprehensive operations of all food and beverage outlets within the hotel.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure an exceptional culinary experience for guests, consistently meeting international quality standards. The F&B Director will also be instrumental in reflecting the unique local tourism identity across all F&B offerings, which include restaurants, cafes, banquets, and room service.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of all hotel restaurants, cafes, and banquets to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Manage budgets, control food and beverage costs, and implement strategic initiatives to maximize revenue and profitability.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design and update food and beverage menus that appeal to both local and international tourists.
• Enforce the highest standards of food safety and hygiene, including HACCP protocols, and ensure full compliance with Saudi municipality regulations.
• Recruit, train, motivate, and manage both front-of-house and back-of-house teams to maintain service excellence.
• Coordinate effectively with the procurement department to secure high-quality ingredients and manage inventory efficiently to reduce waste.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar Food & Beverage leadership role within the hospitality industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex F&B operations, budgets, and teams.
• Strong understanding of international quality standards, food safety regulations, and local market preferences.

This full-time position is based in Abha, a city located in the 'Asir region of Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a dynamic hotel environment, leading diverse teams to deliver high-quality food and beverage services.
