About Lumi and the MHE Operator Role

Lumi | لومي is seeking a MHE Operator to join our team in Abhā, 'Asir, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to our logistics and warehouse operations, focusing on the safe and efficient handling of materials within our facilities.

Role Overview

The MHE Operator is responsible for the safe operation of material handling equipment, primarily forklifts, to manage the movement and storage of goods. This role involves unloading deliveries, stacking boxes, and transporting various materials across warehouse, factory, and storage sites. A key aspect of the position is ensuring that all products are handled and stored without damage, while consistently maintaining a secure working environment through proper equipment operation, clear communication, and strict adherence to safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to unload incoming deliveries and efficiently stack boxes and other materials.
• Ensure items are transported and stored safely, preventing damage to products.
• Navigate forklifts safely within warehouse, factory, and storage environments, maintaining awareness of surrounding shelves, equipment, and personnel.
• Communicate effectively with other employees to ensure a safe working environment throughout the shift.
• Perform regular safety checks and basic maintenance on Material Handling Equipment (MHE), ensuring compliance with safety standards and reporting any malfunctions.
• Support the organization and inventory management of spare parts, tools, and vehicle-related accessories, ensuring proper storage and accessibility.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles, car-related equipment, and accessories from delivery trucks or designated storage areas.
• Safely operate various material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move vehicles, parts, and supplies within company premises, such as garages, storage areas, and warehouses.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in operating Material Handling Equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts and other MHE safely and efficiently.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to operational guidelines.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members.

Work Environment

This full-time position operates within various company premises, including warehouses, factories, garages, and other storage sites in Abha. The role requires consistent attention to safety and coordination within a dynamic operational setting.
