The role is full-time and requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview

The Automation Engineer will be responsible for the programming, configuration, and maintenance of industrial automation and control systems within a tissue paper manufacturing environment. This position focuses on ensuring the reliable operation and seamless integration of production machinery to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems to ensure the reliable operation of tissue paper manufacturing equipment.
• Integrate industrial automation and control systems with tissue paper production machinery, ensuring seamless communication, synchronization, and process control.
• Diagnose and resolve control system faults, instrumentation issues, and communication failures to minimize production downtime and improve machine reliability.
• Support preventive maintenance, automation upgrades, system modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, safety, and equipment performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in automation engineering, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience with PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting control system faults and instrumentation issues.

Work Environment and Type

This is a full-time position located in Al Jubayl, Saudi Arabia, within a global supplier's production facility. The role involves working with cutting-edge production technology and adhering to superior quality standards.
