About ICMS Group and the Role

This full-time Maintenance Scheduler position is based in Al Jubail, Eastern Region.

Purpose of the Maintenance Scheduler

The Maintenance Scheduler is responsible for developing, optimizing, and monitoring comprehensive maintenance schedules. This role aims to maximize plant equipment reliability and minimize operational downtime. The Maintenance Scheduler acts as a key coordinator, ensuring seamless alignment of personnel, spare parts, and tools across Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Maintenance teams before job execution.

Core Responsibilities

  • Create detailed daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules for all plant equipment and facilities.
  • Coordinate preventative, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance workflows.
  • Balance and assign necessary manpower, specialized tools, machinery, and material assets to scheduled tasks.
  • Collaborate with the Operations department to secure safety permits, equipment isolations, and dedicated maintenance windows.
  • Verify the complete availability of required spare parts, raw materials, and external service support before dispatching crews.

CMMS Management and Analytics

  • Input, track, and update all scheduling parameters and maintenance history within SAP PM, Maximo, or equivalent CMMS software.
  • Actively monitor the maintenance backlog and formulate strategic recovery plans to reduce overdue work orders.
  • Generate, track, and analyze critical maintenance KPIs, including overall schedule compliance and equipment availability metrics.
  • Prepare structured maintenance progress reports, compliance updates, and analytical summaries for management review meetings.

Campaign Support and Operational Compliance

  • Support the specialized planning and resource mapping required for major plant shutdowns, turnarounds (TAR), and heavy maintenance campaigns.
  • Coordinate on-site contractor schedules and audit their compliance timelines against master project milestones.
  • Collaborate with Warehouse, Procurement, and Engineering teams to refine asset management pipelines and develop long-term strategy forecasts.
  • Ensure every scheduled task strictly adheres to corporate Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and local Permit-to-Work (PTW) protocols.

Required Qualifications

  • Entry-level experience (0-1 years) is required.
  • Experience within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, or heavy industrial facilities is essential.
