Abdullah A. Al-Barrak & Son Co. is seeking a dedicated Planning Engineer to join our team. This full-time position is based in Al Jubail, Eastern Province, and focuses on supporting critical projects within the Oil & Gas industry. We are looking for a professional with a strong background in mechanical disciplines to contribute to our operational excellence.

The Role of Planning Engineer

The Planning Engineer is responsible for the comprehensive management and oversight of project schedules, ensuring efficient execution and seamless coordination across various project phases. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential challenges and contributing to informed decision-making processes to maintain project timelines and objectives within the Oil & Gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, monitor, and update project schedules using PRIMAVERA software, ensuring timely execution and effective coordination among various departments.
• Interface directly with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to develop comprehensive and detailed work plans.
• Proactively identify and assess potential schedule risks or delays, proposing mitigation strategies.
• Assist in the preparation of progress reports and conduct schedule analysis to support effective project decision-making.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as a Planning Engineer.
• Specialization in Mechanical disciplines is essential.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using PRIMAVERA software for project scheduling and management.
• Proven ability to work effectively within the Oil & Gas industry.

Work Setting and Compensation

This is a full-time position located in Al Jubail, Eastern Province. The salary for this role will be discussed during the interview process and is not disclosed at this stage.
