About the Role

Solution Leaders Fayez Engineering is seeking an experienced Electrical Department Manager to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time position involves overseeing the electrical engineering department and ensuring the successful execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate with the Principal Electrical Engineer to ensure correct implementation of project designs and manage the work of Lead Engineers.
Prepare and review electrical engineering studies, design drawings and documents, and specifications for materials and equipment.
Resolve electrical engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards.
Establish the scope of work for each project or proposal.
Schedule and expedite the work of the department.
Develop organizational procedures, methods, and controls.
Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards and procedures.
Coordinate activities with other departments and clients.
Determine the need for investigation and research.
Participate in the development of long-range plans.
Establish project objectives and priorities.
Provide expert advice on electrical engineering design, processes, and other methodologies.

Leadership and Management

Make staffing decisions and provide employees with training and development opportunities.
Propose and manage the department budget and participate in the development of the unit budget.
Propose and manage quality initiatives and participate in the development of procedures.
Make recommendations concerning salary adjustments and performance evaluations.
Approve timesheets.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage an engineering department.
Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, codes, and standards.
