About the Role

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a Technical Director – Data Centres & Mission Critical (Electrical) to join its Building Services team. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on strengthening WSP's Data Centres offering across the UAE and KSA as the sector continues to expand.

Role Context and Leadership

This leadership opportunity is for an experienced mission critical design professional. The Technical Director will work closely with regional leadership and multidisciplinary teams, providing technical direction on complex data centre projects. The role involves championing design excellence and supporting the continued growth of WSP's Mission Critical practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design for hyperscale, colocation, and mission critical facilities.
• Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary Building Services design teams.
• Drive design quality, innovation, and technical excellence throughout project delivery.
• Act as an advisor to clients on mission critical infrastructure strategies.
• Support business development, client engagement, and major project pursuits.
• Mentor and develop engineers within the Building Services team.
• Contribute to the growth and strategic direction of WSP's Data Centres & Mission Critical practice.

Required Experience

• Candidates should possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in mission critical design.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within the Building Services team at WSP in the Middle East, located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
