Human Resources Manager (Saudi National Only)

About the Role

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join its team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This is a full-time position open exclusively to Saudi Nationals. The Human Resources Manager will support the daily operations of the Human Resources Office, focusing on recruitment, total compensation, and training and development. The role also involves ensuring HR services meet employee needs and contribute to business success, while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the recruitment and hiring process, including establishing contact with external sources, attending job fairs, and overseeing candidate identification and selection.
• Provide expertise to property managers on selection procedures and partner with vendors for effective advertisement of open positions.
• Administer employee benefits, working with unemployment services providers, preparing reports, and representing the property at unemployment hearings.
• Oversee employee development by supporting departmental orientation programs, ensuring cross-training, and utilizing on-the-job training tools.
• Facilitate new hire orientation to ensure a positive first impression and emphasize guest service.
• Maintain employee relations by assisting with communication channels, reviewing progressive discipline documentation, and addressing employee concerns through an "open door" policy.
• Partner with Loss Prevention for employee accident investigations and communicate performance expectations.
• Ensure legal and compliance practices are followed, including maintaining accurate and secure employee files, complying with the Privacy Act, and managing medical records confidentially.
• Facilitate drug testing processes where applicable and communicate property rules and safety policies through the employee handbook and regular meetings.
• Conduct periodic claims reviews with the Regional Claims office and represent Human Resources at the property Safety Committee to promote workplace safety.
• Manage Workers' Compensation claims to ensure appropriate employee care and cost management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Saudi National only.
• 0-1 years of experience in Human Resources.
• Demonstrated ability to carry out daily HR office activities.
• Understanding of recruitment, total compensation, and training and development processes.
• Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and operating procedures related to HR.

Work Environment

This role is based in Al Khobar, Eastern region, and operates within a hotel environment as part of the Human Resources support staff. The position requires collaboration with various departmental managers and external partners to achieve HR objectives and support overall business success.
