Role Overview

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Public Relation Officer Mobility Specialist to join its team in Al Khobar, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to supporting government relations, immigration, labor, licensing, and regulatory services, ensuring smooth operations and compliance for GE Vernova entities and employees within Saudi Arabia. The specialist will coordinate closely with government authorities and internal stakeholders to ensure the timely and accurate execution of all necessary government transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Process a range of immigration services, including work permits, Iqama issuance and renewal, sponsorship transfers, job title changes, and various visa services.
• Manage exit/re-entry visas, final exit procedures, dependent services, and passport updates.
• Support the issuance of business visas, visit visas, and employee mobilization processes.
• Assist employees with medical examinations, biometrics, appointments, and other government-mandated requirements.
• Utilize and maintain various government portals, including Absher, Qiwa, Muqeem, GOSI, MOFA, MISA, MOC, Municipality, SPL, and National Address.
• Support the renewal and maintenance of company licenses such as CR, MISA, Municipality, Civil Defense, Chamber of Commerce, and other required permits.
• Maintain accurate employee records, visa tracking systems, and comprehensive documentation.
• Facilitate document attestations, certificates of origin, and official submissions to government bodies.
• Coordinate government-related activities with internal departments including HR, Legal, Finance, and Shared Services.
• Review and follow up on cases managed by third-party immigration service providers.
• Process government payments and support reconciliation efforts with Finance and Treasury departments.
• Ensure strict compliance with Saudi labor laws, Saudization (Nitaqat) regulations, and company policies.
• Track and resolve violations, fines, and government alerts received through platforms like Qiwa, Muqeem, and GOSI.
• Support government inspections and audits, and respond to official inquiries as required.
• Undertake other government-related tasks and support operational improvements and assigned projects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field from an accredited university or college; alternatively, a high school degree combined with relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Saudi government relations, immigration, and labor processes.
• Legal right to work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia without requiring company sponsorship or time restriction.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Demonstrated knowledge of key Saudi government portals, including Absher, Qiwa, Muqeem, GOSI, MOFA, MISA, MOC, and Municipality platforms.
• Proven experience in supporting visa processing and various government transactions.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, essential for effective coordination and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with multinational companies or managing multiple legal entities.
• Prior experience in coordinating with third-party immigration service providers.
