Relationship Manager Affluent Banking

About the Role

Riyad Bank is seeking a Relationship Manager Affluent Banking to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves building and managing relationships with affluent clients, developing business opportunities, and ensuring the delivery of financial services. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure controlled and consistent work execution.
• Manage day-to-day operations related to the role to ensure work continuity.
• Build relationships with clients who are buyers of financial services through visits to major prospects and existing customers.
• Develop a thorough understanding of customer organizations, industries, and global practices to maintain client proximity and meet their banking needs and expectations.

Business Development and Sales

• Identify revenue opportunities to actively sell Retail Banking products and support sales targets.
• Maximize product penetration and cross-selling, actively seeking structured finance opportunities to ensure effective service delivery.
• Develop account plans consistently and promptly to facilitate swift follow-up on identified action items.

Product Enhancement and Credit Approval

• Provide input and governmental demand insights to the team for commercially viable loans that meet market demand.
• Review and approve Credit Applications (CAs) according to authority levels, ensuring quality and completeness before submission to Credit for review.
• Collaborate continuously with the Credit Analytics Unit and Risk Management to secure and enhance the quality of the credit portfolio.

Continuous Improvement and Reporting

• Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices, considering international best practices, business process enhancement, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.
• Assist in preparing timely and accurate reports for Riyad Bank to meet company and department requirements, policies, and standards.

Compliance and Work Environment

The role requires compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment. This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
