About the Role

EY is seeking a Senior Manager to join its Audit team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves leading complex audit engagements and contributing to business growth. The role requires building and strengthening client relationships while ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services. The Senior Manager will also be responsible for identifying and escalating risks, fostering a positive team culture, and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager, you will manage the end-to-end delivery of audit engagements. This includes defining the audit strategy in consultation with Associate Partners or Partners and executing it in accordance with Ernst & Young's policies and protocols. You will personally conduct complex audit procedures and lead teams or parts of teams, depending on the engagement's scope. Additionally, you will assist in managing the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking fees, and communicating issues to project leaders. Participation in business development initiatives is also a key part of this role.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of nine years of professional experience in external audit.
• A strong academic record and a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA.
• Experience working with a Big 4 accounting firm.

The ability to manage competing priorities, effectively allocate resources, and communicate clearly are essential skills for this role. Experience with risk-based audit processes and a background in coaching and mentoring junior professionals are highly desirable. Familiarity with the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region and proficiency in Arabic would be advantageous.
