About the Quality Inspector Role

Almarai, the world's largest vertically integrated dairy company and a leading food and beverage manufacturer in the region, is seeking a Quality Inspector. Headquartered in Saudi Arabia, Almarai is a top FMCG brand in MENA and a market leader across the GCC. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, with potential responsibilities extending to Al-Kharj.

Role Purpose and Context

The Quality Inspector will be responsible for implementing the Quality Control function within the Site Quality department. This involves ensuring consistent adherence to Good Laboratory Practices to provide timely and accurate test results. These results are critical for the acceptance, release, or rejection of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products for both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Quality Control procedures at the site.
• Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Conduct timely and accurate testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Provide data to support decisions on product acceptance, release, or rejection.
• Monitor and report on the quality of materials and products.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Food Science, or a related scientific discipline.
• Fluency in English.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a food testing laboratory.
• Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements and laboratory quality management systems.
• Understanding of analytical method validation, verification, and quality control practices.
• Knowledge of sample preparation techniques and instrument performance monitoring.
• Familiarity with food safety and regulatory requirements related to contaminants and residues.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh, with potential duties in Al-Kharj. The role is part of a dynamic multinational team.
