About Al Tuwairqi Group and the Role

Al Tuwairqi Group is seeking an Assistant Technician, Mechanical Maintenance to join our team in Dammam. This full-time position is ideal for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are looking to develop their skills and contribute to the operational excellence of our industrial facilities.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The primary purpose of this role is to support the mechanical management's objectives in ensuring optimal equipment maintenance and operational wellness. By diligently adhering to established safety instructions and best practices, the Assistant Technician will play a direct and vital part in enhancing overall plant productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting practices within the rolling mill environment.
• Collaborate with senior mechanical technicians to implement general maintenance work orders.
• Comprehend maintenance plans to ensure timely completion and quality implementation of work.
• Report on relevant activities and the status of assigned maintenance tasks.
• Monitor safety aspects concerning the workplace, tools, facilities, and personnel.
• Perform mill maintenance fittings work as required.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) Duties

• Understand and strictly follow organizational Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) policies.
• Maintain familiarity with all safety instructions pertinent to the job role.
• Ensure provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) are kept in good, workable condition.
• Report any accidents, near misses, or hazardous conditions to the appropriate responsible parties.

Qualifications and Experience

This role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of professional experience, demonstrating a foundational understanding of mechanical principles and a readiness to learn and apply technical skills in an industrial setting.
