About AREEB and the Role

AREEB is seeking a dedicated Commis Chef to join its culinary team in Dammam. This full-time position is integral to supporting kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety are consistently met. The role offers a foundational opportunity for individuals looking to develop their culinary skills within a professional kitchen environment.

Role Summary

The Commis Chef supports senior chefs and the broader culinary team in various aspects of food preparation, kitchen organization, and daily operational tasks. This includes assisting with ingredient preparation, cooking, and plating, while actively contributing to the maintenance of cleanliness and efficiency throughout the kitchen. The position is designed for individuals eager to learn and grow their expertise in culinary arts.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing ingredients and cooking various menu items.
Adhere to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment.
Ensure proper food storage practices and monitor stock rotation to minimize waste.
Comply with all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
Provide support to senior chefs during food preparation and service periods.
Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment tasks.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is regularly cleaned and properly maintained.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to achieve daily operational goals.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors to support kitchen operations.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's or Higher Diploma.
No previous experience is required; this role is suitable for entry-level candidates with 0-1 years of experience.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, where the Commis Chef will operate within a dynamic and collaborative kitchen environment, working closely with a dedicated culinary team.
