Hilton is seeking a Commis I to join our culinary team in Makkah. This full-time position is suitable for individuals with 0-1 year of experience in a culinary setting. The Commis I plays a direct role in preparing high-quality food items that contribute to a positive guest experience.

Role Overview

As a Commis I Chef, you will be responsible for preparing various food items according to established recipes and quality standards. This role involves contributing to memorable dining experiences for guests by ensuring dishes are prepared efficiently and presented to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items in adherence to designated recipes and quality specifications.
• Manage guest orders efficiently to support a positive dining experience.
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, execute complex recipes, and oversee station operations, including execution, quality control, and inventory checks.
• Inspect all preparations and finalized dishes before serving to ensure they meet quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized food service station, ensuring it is stocked and sanitary while following proper food handling, storage, and safety protocols.
• Prepare requisitions for necessary supplies and food items.
• Comply with all health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations to uphold the highest standards for guest and team member well-being.

Required Experience and Attributes

• 0-1 year of experience in a culinary or kitchen environment.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent quality.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
