Coord Banquet Service

About the Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Banquet Service Coordinator to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role involves coordinating banquet services to ensure events align with client specifications and company standards. The ideal candidate will have 0-1 years of experience in a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with group coordinators/hostesses before events to confirm arrangements and client wishes.
• Analyze banquet orders to determine room layout, schedule, specific guest needs, and setup requirements for buffets and stations.
• Implement and follow up on special banquet arrangements to ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Adhere to all chain safety policies and procedures, reporting maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and appearance.
• Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Support colleagues and the team in achieving common goals, treating everyone with dignity and respect.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, using clear and professional language.
• Answer the phone using appropriate etiquette.
• Perform other tasks as requested by managers that are consistent with the position.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds (* kg) without assistance.
• Capacity to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or a full shift.
• Capability to read and visually verify information in various formats (*, small print).
• Ability to visually inspect tools, equipment, and machinery for defects.
• Reach objects overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Move in narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and on sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
• Ascend and descend stairs and service ramps.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience is required.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.
