About the Country Manager Role

ABS Group is seeking a Country Manager to lead operational, technical, and sales activities across Saudi Arabia, based in Dammam. This full-time role is central to maximizing business revenue growth, operational efficiency, and profitability, while fostering a rewarding work environment for the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop the strategic regional business plan, focusing on growth, executable sales, and brand identity.
• Lead the local QE team in all aspects of business management and personnel development.
• Communicate with the President and peers to facilitate resource and idea sharing.
• Make management and strategy decisions to enhance business performance.
• Prepare aggressive yet attainable budgets and business plans.
• Act as the ABS ambassador, promoting the ABS brand to customers.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the market and competitive landscape to identify and explore growth opportunities, including new services and acquisitions.
• Ensure competitive pricing in alignment with business guidelines.
• Support international sales activity.
• Minimize costs without compromising sales and service delivery standards.
• Ensure consistent service delivery based on customer feedback.
• Implement standard group processes in the country for IT, HR, Legal, Compliance, and Finance, ensuring appropriate financial and process controls.
• Identify, assess, develop, coach, and promote talent.
• Manage backlog, Accounts Receivable, cash flow, DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or recognized equivalent from an accredited university, or equivalent business/quality-related experience.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of previous related industry experience.
• Appropriate certification and/or licenses in the area of specialization, as required.
• Prior experience in management systems certification is a significant advantage.
• Proven P&L experience.

Reporting Structure

The Country Manager reports to the Vice President or President, ABS QE. This role may also have individual contractor direct reports.

A critical aspect of the role involves ensuring a safe working environment and actively establishing and maintaining a strong safety culture within the country operations.
