About the Director of Rooms Role

Dana Rayhaan by Rotana is seeking a Director of Rooms to join its team in Dammam. This full-time position requires a professional with a strong focus on guest satisfaction and operational excellence within the Front Office division. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring high standards of service and efficient management of all rooms-related operations.

Core Responsibilities and Strategic Input

The Director of Rooms is responsible for the comprehensive planning, organization, direction, control, and evaluation of all operational policies and procedures within the Rooms Division. This includes active participation in the development of pricing and promotional strategies to optimize performance and guest experience.

Operational Management and Leadership

• Overseeing short-term and long-term planning, as well as day-to-day operations for the rooms and associated areas.
• Recommending budget allocations and managing expenses effectively within approved constraints.
• Implementing and managing the Rooms Division’s annual budget, business plan, and marketing plan to meet or exceed management expectations.
• Managing divisional operations consistently to ensure high levels of quality and customer satisfaction.
• Resolving customer complaints as necessary to maintain high standards of satisfaction and quality.
• Training and developing team members within the Rooms Division.

Divisional Oversight

The Director of Rooms will directly manage and oversee the following departments:

• Front Office
• Guest Relations
• Club Rotana
• Business Center
• Housekeeping
• Security
• Health Club

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess:

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar leadership role within Front Office or Rooms Division operations.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high levels of customer service and provide effective solutions to guest needs.
• Proven capability in planning, organizing, and directing complex hotel operations.
• Experience in budget management and strategic planning for rooms-related services.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and operational consistency.

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, offering an opportunity to lead a key operational division within Dana Rayhaan by Rotana.
