About the Role

Al Tuwairqi Group is seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic to join their team in Dammam. This is a full-time position requiring 1-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

The Heavy Duty Mechanic will be responsible for a range of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the operational readiness of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment. This role involves hands-on work and adherence to safety protocols.

Assisting with brake system repairs and overhauling.
Performing mechanical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
Conducting tire repairs and replacements.
Assisting with welding tasks as needed.
Carrying out mechanical repairs on trucks and flatbed vehicles.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the work area.
Ensuring all tools are properly maintained and stored after use.
Performing other related duties as assigned by management.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E)

Adherence to organizational HS&E policies and safety instructions is paramount. This includes maintaining personal protective equipment (PPE) and reporting any safety concerns.

Understanding and complying with organizational HS&E policies.
Following all safety instructions relevant to assigned tasks.
Reporting damaged PPE, unsafe machinery, or equipment to the appropriate staff.
Keeping provided PPE in good, workable condition.
Avoiding horseplay and the misuse of safety devices, equipment, and welfare facilities.
Reporting all accidents, near misses, or hazardous conditions to the responsible personnel.
Attending scheduled safety training sessions.
Having the right to refuse any unsafe work.
