About the Operations Supervisor Role at Amazon

Amazon is expanding its Operations team and is seeking an Operations Supervisor for a Delivery Station in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role involves overseeing shift management within a final mile delivery station, playing a key part in ensuring customer orders are processed efficiently through the logistics chain. The position requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

Cultivate and maintain a safe working environment by identifying safety opportunities within the work area.
Manage and train Associates to ensure high-quality service delivery for customers.
Ensure customer orders are fulfilled in adherence to quality and safety guidelines.
Provide critical shift-related information continuously to frontline management and operators.
Adjust labor allocation throughout shifts to meet and exceed operational plans and forecasts.
Engage with support functions and other departments to address common issues or needs in key performance areas such as process area readiness, 5S, safety, and training.
Contribute to solving logistics and supply chain challenges through data analysis, innovation, and process optimization.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication skills, a high level of ownership, and a commitment to leading by example. This role requires the ability to develop expertise in all operational processes, analyze data, motivate team members, and consistently prioritize the customer in all decision-making. The candidate must be willing and able to work weekends and provide overtime support as needed, including night shifts and variable work hours.

Basic Qualifications

Fluency in speaking, writing, and reading English.
1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Capable of lifting up to 49 pounds, standing/walking during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.
Ability to work 40 hours/week, with overtime as required.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, within a fast-paced logistics environment. The role requires adaptability to varying shift patterns, including night shifts, and the ability to perform physical tasks as part of daily operations.
