About Bostani and the Role

Bostani, a luxury chocolatier based in Dammam, Eastern Region, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Packaging Designer to join its team. This full-time role focuses on transforming brand values into distinct, functional, and premium packaging solutions. The designer will play a key part in enhancing the consumer experience and reinforcing Bostani's brand identity through physical product presentation.

Role Purpose and Collaboration

The primary purpose of this position is to design packaging that is both visually compelling and structurally sound, aligning with current market trends in luxury goods. The Packaging Designer will work in close collaboration with the creative, branding, marketing, and production teams to ensure cohesive execution from concept to final product.

Key Responsibilities

Design packaging solutions for various chocolate collections, seasonal themes, and special collaborations.
Create mockups and 3D renderings for packaging components, including boxes, sleeves, labels, and inserts.
Select appropriate materials and finishes, such as embossing, foil stamping, and spot UV, to elevate the perceived value of products.
Ensure all packaging designs consistently reflect the Bostani brand identity, including specific borders, motifs, and color palettes.
Collaborate with the Creative Brand Developer to maintain cohesive storytelling across all physical brand touchpoints.
Research and explore emerging trends in luxury packaging, sustainability practices, and consumer unboxing experiences.
Propose innovative packaging formats, such as magnetic boxes, drawer-style cases, and regionally inspired shapes.
Prepare print-ready files and coordinate with suppliers to ensure high-quality production output.
Review physical samples and proofs to verify accuracy in design, material selection, and finishing.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in packaging design, preferably within the luxury goods or food industry. A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in structural and graphic packaging design is expected.

Work Environment

This is a full-time role based at our office in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will work within a dynamic creative environment focused on maintaining high standards of brand presentation and product quality.
