About the Role

Hitachi ABB Power Grids is seeking a Production Manager to join our team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is situated within our Production & Skilled Trades department, contributing to a global technology leader focused on advancing a sustainable energy future.

Role Overview

The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations and ensuring efficient production processes. This role involves leading a diverse and collaborative team to meet production targets, maintain quality standards, and optimize operational performance within the Dammam facility. The manager will play a key part in the operational success of the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily production activities to ensure timely delivery and adherence to schedules.
• Implement and monitor production processes to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production personnel within the department.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve operational issues and improve overall performance.
• Prepare production reports and analyze data to identify areas for continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in production management or a related operational role.
• Proven ability to lead and manage production teams effectively.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Relevant educational background in engineering, operations management, or a related field is preferred.
