About the Production Manager Role

ALRAJHI GROUP, a prominent Saudi industrial and logistics conglomerate established in 1961, is seeking a Production Manager for its operations in Dammam, Eastern Province. With over six decades of experience and a team exceeding 2,000 professionals, ALRAJHI GROUP is dedicated to providing reliable, safe, and scalable industrial and logistics services across the GCC and beyond. This full-time, on-site position is integral to overseeing daily production activities and ensuring alignment with key operational targets.

Core Responsibilities

The Production Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive management of production operations. Key duties include:

• Planning and scheduling all production activities to meet operational demands.
• Effectively managing workforce allocation and deployment.
• Coordinating closely with maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure seamless workflows.
• Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational efficiency.
• Optimizing the utilization of all production resources.
• Implementing continuous improvement initiatives aimed at cost reduction and productivity enhancement.
• Enforcing strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
• Proactively resolving operational issues as they arise.
• Reporting on performance, progress, and challenges to senior management.
• Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to meet customer requirements and support operational excellence.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in production management, encompassing planning, scheduling, and supervision of manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Proven skills in process optimization, continuous improvement methodologies (such as Lean, 5S, Kaizen), and cost control within a production setting.
• Proficiency in utilizing production management tools and ERP or manufacturing systems for tracking output, inventory, and performance metrics.
• A solid understanding of quality management principles and standards, with the ability to enforce quality controls and address nonconformities.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, coupled with a track record of maintaining safe work practices and ensuring compliance.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field. Advanced certifications in production or operations management are considered an advantage.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required.
• Experience within the industrial, manufacturing, or logistics sectors in the GCC region is preferred.
