About the Opportunity

WSP in the Middle East is seeking an experienced Project Manager Aviation / PMO Lead to join their team. This full-time position is based in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia, and focuses on overseeing day-to-day operations for a major aviation programme.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the efficient and effective execution of all project activities within the aviation programme. The Project Manager Aviation / PMO Lead will be instrumental in maintaining project integrity and progress by coordinating various internal and external elements.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that all project activities consistently meet defined performance, schedule, and quality objectives.
• Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth project progress and collaboration.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project health and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage project risks proactively, developing and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Support commercial and contractual workflows, ensuring compliance and effective management.
• Provide structured and timely updates to the Project Director regarding overall project status and emerging issues.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience. This experience should be in project management, specifically within the aviation sector, or in a PMO leadership capacity. A proven track record in managing complex programmes and coordinating diverse teams is essential.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position requiring a dedicated presence in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a dynamic environment, managing critical aspects of a major aviation programme.
