About the Role

Siemens Energy is seeking an experienced Project Procurement Professional to join our Gas Services business. This full-time role, based in Dammam, Eastern region, focuses on driving procurement excellence and delivering maintenance solutions for Gas Turbine and Steam Turbine Generator fleets. The position requires 5-10 years of experience in project procurement.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

In this role, you will lead and own end-to-end procurement activities for complex Gas Services maintenance projects. Your primary objective will be to develop and implement procurement strategies that align with project goals, ensuring timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and quality standards are met. You will be responsible for managing the full procurement lifecycle, from RFQ processes and bid evaluations to high-value commercial negotiations and contract finalization.

• Lead and manage end-to-end procurement for Gas Services maintenance projects.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project objectives.
• Conduct complex RFQs, perform bid evaluations, and lead commercial negotiations.
• Develop and manage supplier strategies, including qualification and relationship management.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and total cost of ownership improvements.
• Manage supplier performance and implement corrective actions.
• Negotiate and finalize complex contracts and service agreements.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Legal.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree is considered a plus. Extensive experience in project procurement is essential, with a preference for candidates with a background in the energy, power generation, or industrial services sectors. Strong expertise in procurement for Gas Turbine and Steam Turbine maintenance services is highly desirable.

Proficiency in ERP systems, such as SAP, and digital procurement tools is also required.
