About the Safety Engineer Role

Magrabi Health is seeking a Safety Engineer to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This full-time position is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience in safety engineering. The role focuses on ensuring the availability and accuracy of safety components' inventory across all regional branches and maintaining compliance with established inspection, testing, and maintenance plans.

Core Responsibilities

The Safety Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and implementing health and safety protocols within the hospital facility. This includes conducting regular safety audits, risk assessments, and hazard inspections to ensure adherence to local healthcare regulations and safety standards. The role also involves developing and delivering safety training programs and emergency drills for hospital staff, as well as investigating incidents and implementing corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.

Key Duties and Tasks

• Oversee and implement health and safety protocols across the hospital facility.
• Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and hazard inspections.
• Ensure compliance with local healthcare regulations and safety standards.
• Conduct safety training and emergency drills for hospital staff.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification. Proven experience as a Safety Officer or Engineer, preferably within a healthcare or hospital setting, is desired. A relevant degree or certification in Occupational Health and Safety, such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent, is also a key requirement. Applicants must hold a valid professional registration or license, if applicable.
