Senior Cost Control Specialist

About the Role

A Leading Saudi Group is seeking a Senior Cost Control Specialist to join its Project Management Office (PMO) in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on strengthening and developing the group's Supporting Services operations. The position offers exposure across operational and equipment activities, moving beyond traditional project cost control to provide commercial insights that inform business decisions.

Role Context and Impact

This role is central to helping management understand profitability, cost trends, and asset utilization. Working closely with leadership in Finance, Operations, Maintenance, and the PMO, the Senior Cost Control Specialist will transform financial and operational data into actionable commercial insights. The analysis provided will directly support decisions related to cost optimization, revenue protection, asset utilization, and overall profitability across multiple business areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor costs against approved budgets and operational targets.
• Analyze revenue, operating costs, maintenance/repair costs, and profitability.
• Produce budget vs. actual, variance, and profitability analysis reports.
• Monitor the monthly revenue cycle and identify potential revenue leakage.
• Review invoicing, unbilled revenue, receivables, and collection performance.
• Analyze equipment/asset utilization, idle time, and operational performance.
• Develop management reports, dashboards, and KPIs to provide clear visibility of business performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve utilization, reduce downtime, and increase profitability.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Maintenance, and PMO teams to enhance cost and revenue control.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in finance or cost control.
• Demonstrated ability to move beyond routine reporting to provide operational and commercial insights.
• Experience in analyzing financial and operational data to drive business decisions.
• Candidates should be Saudi finance or cost-control professionals seeking broader commercial and operational exposure.

Compensation

The salary for this position is SAR 14,450 per month.
