About the Role

Mitsubishi Power Saudi Arabia is seeking a Technical Support Engineer (Gas Turbine/ Customer Support) to join its dynamic team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is within the technical maintenance and repair division, requiring 2-5 years of relevant experience in the field.

Role Summary

The primary objective of this role is to provide specialized technical support to clients, ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of gas turbine systems. The engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, while also fostering strong client relationships through effective service delivery and communication. A proactive approach to problem-solving, a deep understanding of gas turbine technology, and a commitment to customer satisfaction are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for gas turbine systems to minimize client downtime.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks and inspections on gas turbine equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze and resolve complex technical issues related to gas turbines.
  • Prepare detailed reports on service activities, including maintenance logs and incident documentation.
  • Train and educate clients on the operation and maintenance of gas turbine systems.
  • Assist in the development of service strategies and improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in gas turbine technology to provide informed recommendations to clients.
  • Participate in on-site troubleshooting and repairs as required, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Support sales teams by providing technical insights during customer meetings and demonstrations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, with specialized knowledge in gas turbines.
  • Proven experience of 2-5 years in customer support or technical service roles within the energy or engineering sectors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel for on-site support and training as needed.
