Role Summary

Applicantz is seeking a Vocational Technical Trainer specializing in Welding for a contract position. This role is based in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, and focuses on developing and delivering comprehensive training programs to meet industry standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain training programs, materials, assessments, and procedures.
• Support the recruitment and selection of training associates or assistants.
• Ensure adequate and suitable equipment is available in workshops and laboratories.
• Source redundant equipment for practical training purposes.
• Create and implement both written and performance-based assessments.
• Deliver effective training sessions and presentations.
• Evaluate trainee portfolios to meet External Verifier and Awarding Body standards.
• Support trainee certification processes, including NVQ Assessor qualifications.
• Ensure program standards are consistently maintained at the training center and during on-the-job (OJT) placements.
• Implement and maintain Quality Assurance systems and policies.
• Manage teaching and assessment schedules efficiently.
• Coach and train technicians as required.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and suggest improvements for existing training programs.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a Technical or Engineering Diploma in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a training capacity.
• At least 5 years of industrial experience, specifically within the oil & gas sector.
