About the Role

Pinnacle Capital is seeking an Accountant to manage daily accounting operations within a CMA-regulated entity. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing periodic financial reports for internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Prepare VAT returns and related reconciliations, ensuring compliance with ZATCA requirements.
Investigate accounting and reconciliation differences, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding items.
Record and reconcile intercompany and related-party transactions and balances.
Maintain complete supporting documentation and audit trails for financial transactions.
Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Perform account and variance analysis, investigate unusual movements, and resolve accounting discrepancies.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (*, CPA, ACCA, CMA) are an advantage.
3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within a regulated financial services or investment management company.
Good understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
Experience with CMA-regulated entities and regulatory reporting is preferred.
Professional accounting qualification or progress toward a recognized qualification is an advantage.

Required Skills and Competencies

Strong multitasking ability, capable of managing several concurrent accounting workstreams.
High accuracy and attention to detail, particularly under tight deadlines and audit pressure.
Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with accounting/ERP systems (*, NetSuite) preferred.
Ability to work independently while keeping the Senior Accountant informed of priorities and risks.
Comfortable working under pressure and adapting to shifting priorities.
