About the Arabic Copywriter Role

Aajil is seeking a Part-time Arabic Copywriter to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is central to shaping the company's voice across various digital platforms and campaigns, focusing on culturally relevant content for Saudi business audiences. Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in a relevant copywriting field.

Company Background and Strategic Impact

Aajil operates as a fast-growing fintech company in Saudi Arabia, providing a Sharia-compliant B2B Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) platform. The platform supports contractors, traders, and manufacturers by facilitating access to necessary materials and inventory, thereby addressing cash flow gaps. The Arabic Copywriter will contribute to building locally relevant brands and campaigns that resonate with the business landscape in the Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop engaging Arabic and/or bilingual copy for social media, campaigns, advertisements, and brand communications.
• Produce culturally relevant content specifically tailored for Saudi business owners, contractors, and decision-makers.
• Create compelling hooks, headlines, captions, and calls-to-action (CTAs) designed for optimal engagement and performance.
• Script short-form video content suitable for platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok-style formats.
• Generate educational and story-driven carousel content.
• Ensure all messaging adheres to Aajil’s brand tone and Sharia-compliant communication principles.
• Collaborate with marketing and creative teams on campaign concepts and content direction.
• Monitor and stay informed on Saudi and GCC content trends and audience behavior.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong understanding of Saudi and GCC audience behavior and content trends.
• Excellent Arabic copywriting skills; English proficiency is an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in creating social media and digital marketing content.
• Ability to write concise, engaging, and conversion-focused copy.
• Strong storytelling and creative thinking abilities.
• Understanding of culturally sensitive and Sharia-compliant communication practices.
• Capability to simplify complex business or financial concepts into accessible messaging.

Preferred Experience

• Experience within the fintech, startup, B2B, or financial services sectors.
