About the Role

Apparel Group is seeking a dedicated Assistant Store Manager for a full-time position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves supporting the overall operations of the store and ensuring a seamless customer experience. The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager in various managerial tasks and assumes leadership responsibilities in their absence, overseeing daily operations, managing staff, achieving sales targets, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations, ensuring adherence to company standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to establish and achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Monitor sales performance, analyze KPIs, and implement effective strategies to maximize revenue.
• Manage inventory control, merchandising, and stock replenishment to ensure optimal product availability and accurate stock levels.
• Ensure the store layout and presentation align with brand standards and visual merchandising guidelines.
• Implement promotional offers and ensure all team members understand sales targets.
• Maintain back store operations and merchandise replenishment efficiently.

Customer Focus and Administration

• Implement and uphold a high standard of customer focus, leading by example in all aspects of customer service.
• Regularly audit store administration, resolving any issues promptly.
• Positively and effectively implement changes in administrative procedures within the store.
• Ensure security procedures are adhered to throughout the store and maintain high security awareness regarding stock and money.

Team Leadership and Performance Management

• Monitor and manage salesperson work schedules, vacations, and days off.
• Resolve salesperson complaints and concerns, providing ongoing performance feedback and counseling when necessary.
• Encourage full participation of the sales team in creating store goals and developing plans.
• Ensure the team portrays the company image through personal presentation and adherence to the company dress code.
• Manage staff leave records accurately.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a retail management role.
• Demonstrated strong management experience and leadership skills.
• Proven problem-solving abilities.
• Track record of success in enhancing customer engagement.
• Ability to achieve and exceed sales KPI targets for retail stores.
