About Qiddiya and the Role

Qiddiya is seeking an Associate Director City IT BRM (CORS) to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to aligning technology with business requirements within the City Development department, supporting Qiddiya's vision for city planning and development initiatives.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Associate Director City IT BRM (CORS) holds a strategic role, responsible for ensuring that IT solutions effectively support business goals and enhance the operational capabilities of city planning and development. The primary focus involves managing relationships between IT and various business units to identify specific needs, recommend appropriate technological solutions, and oversee the execution of IT projects that drive efficiency and effectiveness. This position also involves establishing frameworks for business analysis to facilitate data-driven decision-making and support continuous improvement processes.

Core Responsibilities

• Act as the liaison between the IT department and business units within the City Development sector, advocating for business needs in the IT strategy.
• Identify and analyze business requirements, providing technical recommendations that support operational excellence.
• Lead and manage business analysis teams throughout project lifecycles, ensuring delivery meets established timelines and quality standards.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather inputs, refine business requirements, and set project priorities.
• Develop and maintain business process documentation, ensuring alignment with technological solutions.
• Monitor project performance, deliverables, and milestones, providing regular updates to senior management.
• Stay informed of emerging technologies and industry best practices that can enhance city IT operations and contribute to Qiddiya's vision.

Candidate Profile and Experience

Candidates for this full-time role should possess 5-10 years of professional experience in a relevant field. The position requires a proactive approach to aligning technology with business needs and a strong understanding of IT project execution. Demonstrated capability in managing relationships between IT and business units, identifying business requirements, and providing technical recommendations is essential. Experience in leading business analysis teams and facilitating stakeholder workshops is also necessary.

Leadership and Team Management

As a leader, the Associate Director will mentor a team of IT business analysts. This includes overseeing the execution of technology-enabled projects, ensuring they align with both current and future needs of city development and management.
