The firm is recognized as a leader in sustainable design, construction supervision, and project management. We are seeking an Audio Visual Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for a full-time role.

The Project Context

This role is dedicated to a prestigious heritage project in Riyadh, a key component of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative. The development targets Gold LEED certification and encompasses the construction of a Public Realm around mixed-use buildings, academies, a traditional Najdi-style local mosque, a digital art museum, and a unique mud-brick cinema with underground parking.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Audio Visual (AV) Specialist will oversee the entire lifecycle of AV systems for the project. This includes planning, design review, coordination, installation supervision, testing, commissioning, and handover across diverse assets such as commercial offices, residential towers, retail spaces, conference facilities, entertainment venues, public areas, and the smart building environment. The specialist ensures all AV systems comply with project specifications, client requirements, industry standards, and operational needs, working closely with a Construction Supervision Consultant (CSC) team of over 80 site professionals.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Review AV system designs, drawings, materials, and submittals for compliance with design intent and technical specifications.
• Coordinate AV requirements with architects, interior designers, MEP, ICT, and ELV disciplines.
• Track project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate AV installations with overall construction schedules.
• Interface with consultants, contractors, vendors, and client representatives.
• Resolve site coordination issues and clashes.
• Identify installation errors or equipment deficiencies, issue site instructions or snag lists, and verify contractor rectification.
• Monitor AV contractor installation activities, conducting inspections and quality audits.
• Conduct functional and system integration testing of AV equipment.
• Review O&M manuals and as-built documentation.
• Support project handover, warranty activities, and participate in project closeout documentation and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with project quality standards and enforce safety regulations throughout the construction process.
• Provide guidance and support to engineering teams and junior engineers.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify issues, and ensure compliance with the design.
• Coordinate with the Client, PMC, contractors, other construction professionals, and the design team.
• Identify and resolve any construction issues or discrepancies that arise during the project.
• Provide regular progress reports to project managers and other stakeholders.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Audio Visual systems planning, design review, installation supervision, testing, and commissioning.
• Demonstrated expertise in ensuring AV systems meet project specifications, client requirements, and industry standards.
• Proven ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including architects, MEP, ICT/ELV consultants, and contractors.
• Experience in a strategic leadership capacity, capable of executing a vision, managing resources, and delivering results within established timelines and budgets.

Work Environment and Joining

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a collaborative environment. The expected joining time for this role is 1 to 2 weeks from the offer acceptance.
