Autocad Project Engineer

About the Role

Al Jazirah Vehicles Agencies Co. Ltd. is seeking an Autocad Project Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves preparing, developing, and modifying technical drawings and engineering designs using AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with project specifications, engineering standards, and client requirements. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to support project execution by coordinating with engineering teams, contractors, and other stakeholders. The Autocad Project Engineer will ensure accurate and timely delivery of project documentation, playing a key part in the successful progression of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD as required.
• Review engineering drawings, layouts, dimensions, and technical specifications for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and construction drawings in accordance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues.
• Revise drawings based on engineering changes, site conditions, and client feedback.
• Conduct site visits and measurements when required to verify actual site conditions against design drawings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with applicable engineering standards, safety requirements, and company procedures.
• Maintain proper documentation, drawing registers, revisions, and project records.
• Monitor drawing submission schedules and ensure timely completion of assigned deliverables.
• Assist in preparing material take-offs, quantity calculations, and technical documentation when required.
• Identify discrepancies between drawings and project specifications and recommend corrective actions.
• Support project teams during execution, installation, inspection, and handover stages.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field, demonstrating proficiency in AutoCAD and a strong understanding of engineering design principles. The ability to manage project documentation and coordinate with various stakeholders is essential for this role.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, requiring collaboration with engineering teams, project managers, and external contractors. The role may involve site visits to verify conditions and ensure design accuracy.
