Automated Operations Engineer

About the Role

Ericsson is seeking an Automated Operations Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on supporting the monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of large-scale CS, PS, and ITSC networks. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure high network availability and performance through proactive monitoring, effective fault handling, and reactive maintenance activities. The engineer will be responsible for managing incidents and implementing changes within the core network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform configuration changes and troubleshoot MSC, MGW, HLR, HSS, STP, SBC, UDM (CUDB, HSS, HLR), and IMS nodes in accordance with approved processes.
• Participate in internal technical discussions to enhance network monitoring capabilities and first-level troubleshooting effectiveness, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to correct working methodologies, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency.
• Manage fault handling activities, including trouble ticket (TT) management and fault localization, while meeting agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Support and coordinate change management activities and Change Request (CR) implementations.
• Drive timely incident resolution and recovery within SLA targets.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in automated operations or core network support.
• Demonstrated ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain large-scale CS, PS, and ITSC networks.
• Experience with configuration and troubleshooting of MSC, MGW, HLR, HSS, STP, SBC, UDM, and IMS nodes.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, focusing on critical network operations within a dynamic environment.
