Role Overview

V2X is seeking an Avionics/Electrical Technician for a full-time position in Riyadh, requiring 5-10 years of experience. This role specializes in aircraft electrical systems, focusing on unit-level maintenance of electrical, navigational, and avionics components. The technician will diagnose and repair malfunctions in aircraft systems and components, including solid-state and transistorized devices, while adhering to technical manuals, directives, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure aircraft electrical maintenance activities are planned, coordinated, and synchronized to achieve established platform operational readiness (OR) rates in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Comply with established maintenance systems, processes, procedures, and reports that provide immediate situational awareness of platform OR rates.
• Establish daily aircraft electrical maintenance operational goals, objectives, and priorities to achieve stated OR rates.
• Oversee daily aircraft electrical maintenance management for assigned aircraft, supporting the Production Control (PC) Manager and coordinating with Aviation Logistics for parts and spares.
• Work within established maintenance quality control processes, procedures, and standards.
• Direct inquiries, investigations, and research analysis related to aviation electrical maintenance to the PC Manager.
• Coordinate activities and requirements for maintenance operations support with the PC Manager.
• Coordinate daily and weekly maintenance training activities through Production Control.
• Support Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART) processes and procedures in coordination with the PC and Flight Operations Managers.
• Perform other tasks as directed by management.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Associate's degree or higher is required due to visa regulations.
• Successful completion of the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development’s Qualification Verification Program (QVP) is mandatory for visa processing and employment authorization in Saudi Arabia.
• FAA A&P certificate.
• Five (5) years of experience as an AH-64E, UH-60M, or OH-58D aircraft electrician.
• Graduate of a US Military aircraft electrician maintenance course or civilian equivalent.
• Previous experience in unit-level electrical repairs on the supported aircraft.
• Qualified by the appropriate USG armed forces aircraft electrician maintenance course or civilian equivalent.
• Proficiency in using computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other aircraft-related documentation.
• Possession of a valid * driver’s license and Passport.
• DD214 is required for military experience.
• Ability to pass employment and deployment qualification requirements, including medical examinations, drug testing, and background checks.

Technical Skills

The role requires the ability to utilize common and precision measuring tools, perform operational checks on aircraft electrical systems, and test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems test sets and diagnostic equipment. The technician will also assist in requisitioning and maintaining shop and bench stock items for aircraft avionics systems and instruments, perform operator maintenance on common and special tools, AGSE, and PGSE, and prepare aircraft maintenance forms and records, ensuring all operations are conducted safely.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role involves working within a structured maintenance environment, coordinating with various departments, and adhering to strict operational readiness and safety standards.
