Boiler Technician

About the Role

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Boiler Technician to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience in maintenance. The role primarily involves performing routine maintenance on property vehicles, tools, and equipment to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to safety standards within the hotel environment.

Core Maintenance Responsibilities

• Perform minor routine maintenance on property vehicles, including checking oil and fluid levels, tire pressure and wear, charging batteries, and replacing spark plugs.
• Execute preventative maintenance on various tools and equipment, which includes cleaning and lubrication.
• Maintain an accurate maintenance inventory and requisition necessary parts and supplies as required.
• Maintain daily logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activities, documenting test results, instrument readings, and details of equipment malfunctions and maintenance work.

Safety and Compliance

• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures without exception.
• Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly to appropriate personnel.
• Complete all mandatory safety training and certifications.
• Ensure the proper and safe storage of all flammable materials.

Workplace Conduct and Communication

• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance at all times.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and actively protect company assets.
• Communicate with colleagues and supervisors using clear and professional language.
• Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely.
• Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support the team in achieving common goals.
• Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Capability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
• Capacity to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping as needed.

Additional Duties

The Boiler Technician will also perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors, contributing to the overall efficiency and maintenance of the property.
