About BKN301

BKN301 is a London-based financial technology group that develops fintech solutions for banks, fintechs, and merchants across emerging markets. The Role of Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving BKN301’s long-term organic growth in Riyadh. This full-time position involves identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strategic relationships, and building a strong pipeline of future revenue. You will act as the bridge between market opportunities and business execution, translating commercial potential into sustainable business growth within the Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, customer segments, and growth areas within the fintech ecosystem.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to generate commercial insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients, partners, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Generate qualified opportunities through networking, events, conferences, referrals, and direct outreach activities.
  • Develop tailored commercial proposals aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Support deal structuring, commercial negotiations, and commercial offer preparation.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment between market demand, customer expectations, and company priorities.
  • Maintain visibility on pipeline development, commercial activities, and growth initiatives through regular reporting and stakeholder alignment.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience: 5-10 years in Business Development, Sales, Partnerships, Account Management, or similar commercial roles.
  • Language Proficiency: Professional proficiency in both Arabic and English.
  • Opportunity Generation: Proven ability to generate opportunities and build commercial pipelines through proactive business development activities.
  • Relationship Management: Strong experience developing and managing relationships with enterprise clients and strategic partners.
  • Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of fintech products, financial services, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Technical Acumen: Understanding of API architecture, integrations, digital ecosystems, and fintech solutions including payments, banking technologies, AI/GenAI, and emerging financial services.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to understand customer business challenges and position technology solutions accordingly.
