About Belden and the Role

Belden Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager to join its team in Dhahran, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to Belden's mission of connecting people, information, and ideas to address complex connectivity challenges and contribute to the future of digitization. The position focuses on driving early specification influence within significant, long-cycle hospitality and infrastructure programs across Saudi Arabia (KSA) and the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.

Strategic Focus

The Business Development Manager will play a strategic role in influencing project specifications upstream, prior to the Request for Quotation (RFQ) stage. This involves actively shaping architectural designs and technical standards to align with Belden's solutions, thereby securing a strong position for the company in major regional projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage key consultants and design firms early in the project lifecycle, before RFQ, to influence architectures and standards towards Belden solutions.
• Cultivate strong relationships with consultants, with a particular focus on network, Operational Technology (OT), and cybersecurity architectures during the design phase.
• Gain early visibility into long-cycle, specification-driven programs and convert these insights into a qualified pre-RFQ pipeline.
• Identify mega projects and provide Commercial teams with well-qualified, early-stage opportunities.

Required Professional Experience

• Proven track record in a commercial role, and/or in consultant engagement, specification selling, and infrastructure projects.
• Experience working within a medium-to-large international organization.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
