About the Role

HCLTech is seeking a Change Management Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to ensuring the effective and controlled implementation of IT changes across the organization. The specialist will play a crucial role in minimizing disruption and maintaining service stability within the IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and continuously improve the IT Change Management framework, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with ITIL or other relevant industry standards for change management.
• Chair the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and oversee risk assessment processes for high-impact changes.
• Manage the end-to-end change lifecycle, including Request for Change (RFC) submission, review, approval, implementation, and post-implementation review.
• Standardize change categorization (Standard, Normal, Emergency) and ensure proper documentation for all changes.
• Partner with IT teams (Infrastructure, Applications, Security, DevOps), business units, and vendors to align changes with business needs.
• Communicate change schedules, potential impacts, and planned outages to relevant stakeholders.
• Resolve conflicts between change requests and prioritize critical updates to maintain operational efficiency.

Governance and Framework Adherence

The role requires strict adherence to established governance frameworks and guidelines to ensure secure and compliant IT operations. This includes:

• Complying with the SAMA IT Governance Framework (ITGF).
• Adhering to the Cybersecurity Framework (CSF).
• Ensuring compliance with the Counter Fraud Framework (CFF).
• Following Change Advisory Board guidelines for all change processes.
• Ensuring all changes adhere to Cybersecurity policies and mitigating risks related to outages, data loss, or service degradation.

Change Management Tools and Reporting

The specialist will be responsible for the effective utilization of change management tools and comprehensive reporting on change activities.

• Oversee and manage Change Management tools, such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, and JIRA.
• Maintain and present Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly reports on change activities and performance metrics.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess:

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in Change Management or a closely related IT service management role.
• Demonstrated understanding and practical application of ITIL principles and relevant standards.
