Cluster Revenue Manager

About the Role

Marriott Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Cluster Revenue Manager to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position is responsible for managing the transient rooms inventory across multiple properties, with the primary goal of maximizing transient revenue. The role involves strategic pricing, inventory management, and ensuring optimal booking windows for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the transient rooms inventory for assigned hotels and maximize transient revenue.
• Release group rooms back into general inventory and ensure clean booking windows.
• Recommend pricing and positioning strategies for cluster properties.
• Oversee the inventory management system to verify adherence to agreed-upon selling strategies.
• Compile, analyze, and monitor actual sales against projected sales, identifying trends and future needs.
• Conduct sales strategy analysis and refine approaches to increase market share across all properties.
• Ensure hotel strategies align with brand philosophies and initiatives.
• Communicate, implement, and modify sales strategies and rate restrictions based on market fluctuations.
• Manage rooms inventory to maximize cluster rooms revenue and provide input on business evaluation recommendations.
• Utilize reservation and demand forecasting systems to determine, implement, and control selling strategies.
• Check distribution channels for hotel positioning, information accuracy, and competitor positioning.
• Initiate, implement, and evaluate revenue tests, providing recommendations for process improvement.
• Develop and manage internal key stakeholder relationships proactively.
• Act as a liaison between property and regional/corporate systems support when necessary.

Data Analysis and Reporting

• Analyze information and evaluate results to choose optimal solutions and solve problems.
• Utilize computer systems and software for programming, data entry, and information processing.
• Generate accurate and timely reports and presentations.
• Maintain accurate reservation system information and analyze systems data to identify trends and obstacles.
• Generate periodic updates on the transient segment and assist with account diagnostics.

Strategy Execution and Collaboration

• Update market knowledge and align strategies accordingly to achieve and exceed performance goals.
• Attend meetings to plan, organize, prioritize, coordinate, and manage activities and solutions.
• Establish long-range objectives and specify strategies and actions for achievement.
• Provide revenue management functional expertise to cluster general managers, leadership teams, and market sales leaders.
• Lead efforts to coordinate strategies between group sales offices and support cluster selling initiatives.
• Communicate brand initiatives, demand, and market analysis to hotels, clusters, franchise partners, and owners.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.

Additional Duties

• Inform and update executives, peers, and subordinates on relevant information in a timely manner.
• Attend staff, forecast, and long-range meetings as requested by properties.
