About the Role

Amazon is seeking an experienced Regulatory & Compliance Manager to join the Amazon Now team in Riyadh. This full-time position is critical for ensuring technical and regulatory compliance across engineering operations as the company scales its infrastructure in KSA.

Role Overview

The Regulatory & Compliance Manager will lead end-to-end compliance management for Amazon Now operations. This involves overseeing due diligence processes, permit acquisitions, and renewal procedures. The role requires navigating complex regulatory landscapes and managing compliance uncertainties throughout all project phases. Strong stakeholder management skills are essential for collaborating with external partners to develop and implement comprehensive compliance frameworks, ensuring Amazon Now facilities adhere to all building codes and operational regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage engineering compliance throughout all project stages, from initiation to operation.
• Develop and implement engineering compliance frameworks aligned with regional regulatory requirements.
• Review technical drawings and engineering solutions to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
• Manage continuous improvement initiatives for engineering compliance processes and controls.
• Provide expert guidance on technical compliance matters to internal and external stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities concerning technical compliance.
• Coordinate technical compliance audits and assessments in collaboration with internal cross-functional business functions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, or transportation logistics.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing program strategies and plans, driving execution, and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, engaging with multiple stakeholders at various organizational levels.
• Proven experience in building processes, project management, and developing schedules.
• Experience in complex problem-solving and working within tight schedule environments.
