Cost Accountant

About the Role

Maz Holding is seeking a Cost Accountant to join their team in Asharat Sudair, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves monitoring product, manufacturing, and project costs, maintaining accurate inventory valuations, and preparing profitability reports across various business segments including furniture retail, kitchens, doors, and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have 0-1 years of experience in cost accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Calculate costs for imported, locally sourced, and manufactured products, including landed costs.
• Compare actual and standard costs, investigate variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Value and reconcile inventory, participate in stock counts, and identify slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged stock.
• Analyze gross margins by product, showroom, and project.
• Prepare project cost estimates and track costs through to final project costing.
• Support month-end closing, audits, and management reporting.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 0-1 years of experience in cost accounting within manufacturing, import, or project-based environments.
• Knowledge of Saudi accounting and tax requirements.
• Experience with ERP Systems and strong Excel skills.
